Psalm 145:18 says, “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” I Samuel says, “Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered Him.” Bill Gothard writes in his book The Power of Crying Out…” Our crying out is effective on behalf of others as well as for ourselves.” He also writes this, ” God doesn’t miss a single sigh that escapes our lips. But historically, God’s people most often cried out in spoken words that sprang from the depths of their being! God heard their petitions… and shook their worlds.” Throughout God’s Word we find time and time again of His people crying out to Him and in turn He heard their cries. As I serve my Lord and the Haitian people I ask that you join me in crying out to the Lord. I am believing that He is making Himself known to the Haitian people and to the world. David says in Psalm 138:3 “In the day when I cried out, you answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.”
I want to thank you for joining me in crying out to God and for lifting the beautiful people of Haiti, NWHCM and myself up in prayer. The Lord hears your cries.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray Colossians 4:2-4 that my focus is ever on Kingdom Work, proclaiming the Good News, Prayer, Discipleship, training the children and loving like Jesus!!!
- Pray for those children that we will take into the orphanage. Pray that we will train them in the way that God wants them to go.
- Pray for the hearts of those women who will help raise the children in the orphanage. Pray 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
- Pray for those that are lost…those that are trusting in themselves…those that are trusting in the power of voodoo or in other gods. Pray Ephesians 6:19 and I Timothy 2:1-4 (Paul doesn’t pray directly for the lost. He is praying for outside conditions to be manipulated so the situation is ripe for people to come into the the kingdom. ~ jonathan graf)
- Pray for the new believers not only here in Mole St. Nicholas, but for all who have made the most important decision in their lives…to place their trust and hope in Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. Pray Ephesians 1:17-18
- Pray for those I am serving with, that God would make us one in body and spirit and that we would sharpen one another in good and healthy ways. Pray for open communication. Pray that we would keep each other accountable and encourage one another. Pray Romans 15:5-6, 13

- It has been a blessing to see God’s provision come in, but it has been more of a blessing to see our storehouse go out. I praise the Lord for being a part of mission that doesn’t hold on to what has been given. Because we have been blessed…we can be a blessing. It is beautiful to see first hand. Continue to pray for this…that our resources will enlarge.
